2. Smart Contract Risk

All trades on XPRNameSwap are executed by an on-chain smart contract deployed to the XPR Network blockchain. While the contract has been designed with care, smart contracts may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or behave unexpectedly under edge cases. By using this platform you acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of interacting with smart contract code. We are not liable for any loss of funds or accounts resulting from smart contract behavior.

3. Blockchain Transaction Irreversibility

Transactions submitted to the XPR Network blockchain are irreversible once confirmed. This includes purchases, bids, listings, delistings, and settlements. Always verify all transaction details — account name, price, and public key — before signing. We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund any on-chain transaction on your behalf.

4. No Custody of Funds or Accounts

XPRNameSwap does not custody your XPR tokens or your @name accounts. Funds are held temporarily by the smart contract escrow during the settlement window — never by us. Owner key control transfers directly between the contract and the buyer on-chain. We have no ability to access, freeze, seize, or recover your assets.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Securing your wallet, private keys, and account credentials.
• Verifying the identity and legitimacy of any @name you intend to purchase.
• Providing the correct public key when claiming a purchased account.
• Ensuring you meet any settlement deadline for won auctions. Missed deadlines may result in loss of your winning bid with no recourse.
• Understanding the mechanics of the XPR Network blockchain and the actions you sign.

6. Safety Screening Is Informational Only

The safety screening badges shown on listings are generated by querying the XPR Network Hyperion history API for recent updateauth actions on the listed account. A Safe badge indicates no suspicious recent key changes were detected at listing time. It is not a guarantee of account legitimacy, ownership history, or future security. A Flagged badge is a warning, not a prohibition — you may still choose to purchase flagged accounts at your own discretion. We are not liable for the accuracy of screening results.

7. Not Financial Advice

Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Prices of @name accounts are set by sellers and reflect market supply and demand. Past sale prices displayed on the platform are for informational purposes only and do not indicate future value. Do not purchase @names as financial investments without understanding the risks involved.

This platform relies on third-party infrastructure including but not limited to: the XPR Network blockchain, Hyperion history nodes, and associated RPC endpoints. You are responsible for determining whether your use of XPRNameSwap complies with the laws, regulations, and tax obligations of your jurisdiction. This platform may not be available or legal to use in all countries. By using XPRNameSwap you represent that you are permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, XPRNameSwap and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of @name accounts, or loss of XPR tokens, arising out of or in connection with your use of this platform, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable.

We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the platform. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice. Active listings and on-chain data are managed by the smart contract and remain accessible directly on-chain regardless of the status of this frontend.
